GT carried out a rapid architectural review of the existing technology stack and proposed a series of remediation and changes to the existing code base to deliver a true market ready MVP. GT then formed a project team of appropriate software engineers and delivered the MVP on time, and on budget in the space of three months, demonstrating our ability to build software solutions integrating with complex scientific hardware.

Platinum Informatics provide cloud-based laboratory informatics tools that combine Laboratory Information Management and an Electronic Lab Notebook with Big Data
Analytics.

Platinum Informatics solutions enable process optimization, remote working, improved regulatory compliance, and enhanced data quality. With a focus on application in early-stage drug, vaccine and biomarker discovery in the growing area of precision medicine, Platinum Informatics vision is to transform scientific experimentation by bringing the digital laboratory of the future to the research laboratories of today.

The Challenge

Platinum Informatics had acquired GSK as their first customer for their envisioned Decimal product leveraging cloud technologies to automate mass spectrometers in a Life Sciences R&D laboratory, but had been unable to build the product to appropriate specification and reliability.

Rio’s proprietary AI engine (aka Environmental Social Governance or ESG) helps democratise insights from the sustainability sector’s leading minds. Using patented methodology, Rio are able to actually map expert knowledge. They built a model that understands the way experts arrive at conclusions regarding how an individual or business can become more sustainable. They combine this model with their clients’ sustainability data to produce actionable recommendations. These recommendations are made available for Rio users on demand through Rio's user-friendly chatbot interface. Users get comprehensive, auditable conclusions that break down exactly why each recommendation has been given.

Conceived and designed by Plural Strategy Group, a global specialist in the events and data industries, SmartXpo leverages deep sector knowledge, analytical excellence and tech expertise to support evidence-based decision making for events organisers.
